what sort of fields are these events getting or really what sort of field should be expected for the Main Events?

Hey, I'm planning on making a 3 hour drive tomorrow to play the $550, but I'm wondering how early I need to get there to register. Who else is playing this tourney and what kind of turnout should I expect to see?

pretty sure only like 2 or 3 ppl would know who you're talking about from this description. he's coming with me. anyway, we should get in sometime tomorrow afternoon, i'll prolly grind some cash tomorrow and then...play a donkament?

Can anyone help me out with my question about how early I should arrive? I just tried calling the pokerroom but I can't get to a live person. The automated service said a diamond card is required to play there, so I figure between waiting in line to get that and then register, I should arrive at least an hour early?

Nah, won't take you very long to get a diamond card or reg for the tourney. 30 min early is more than enough time.

Just played a long session of 5/5 at a very bad table. Annette and Bill Ivey were playing and both of them are ridiculously good. It was nice to watch good players play and realize how much I still suck.

Bill- What did you have when you donked into Annette on like the 465 board and she turbo mucked KK face up. Also, no way you had quads on the KK62K board. Nice playing with you, I thought you played pretty damn sick.

On that hand it was KK6KT, and I had T6s. Also, with that Annette pot, I led with 56s... Pretty sick laydown by her, but rethinking it now, I think I should of check-raised to get some more $$$, and my lead looked too strong.

Ya she was c-betting 100% of pots that she opened/squeezed so check raise was probably a better line. Did you move on her light the hand where you opened to 20, I flat called on the button, she made it 100 and you made it 400?
