[ QUOTE ]
I assume that the Desmond interaction and the scene from last night's episode occur on different days, just with similar events. In the Desmond ep, Charlie is wearing a grey shirt and a striped tie and is clean shaven. In the Charlie ep, he is wearing a black and red shirt and is not as cleaned up. [/ QUOTE ] Ok that makes sense. When I watched it it seemed almost exactly the same, with Charlie finishing the song and then pouring rain coming out of nowhere. Still, between the sticker and the similarities, I wonder if the two days aren't related somehow. |

Overall I have to give this episode a thumbs down. There is no way that if this were actually happening people would not DEMAND Juliette to explain to them what this place is, what it is they do here, and why they all cannot just be sent home. I put up with this initially but now it looks more and more like Juliette is becoming one of the losties and the idea of her spending an extended amount of time with them without being forced to answer these questions is just too illogical for me. Bummer. Some other things about the episode I didn't care for, in no particular order....
No Locke. Lost w/Locke is always more gooder than Lost without Locke No Painting. I have grown very fond of the Island painting and require at least 30 seconds of air time for it in each Lost episode I watch. kthanx. Time is too convenient on the Island. I realize this is television and they have to do what they have to do but... How come every time two or three Losties go on their little 'mini adventures' they find new cool stuff on the Island in no time flat yet when it's convenient for the plot line that week they can blow up enough dynamite to take out a house and be far enough away from the others for it to not be noticed. There are other examples of this just about every week and I just find it a little annoying. OK....I do watch the show so obviously I find some stuff about it cool so here goes with a couple of things I likey.. Hurley. Big. Clumbsy. Not terribly bright. What's NOT to like?? lol Sayid. Sayid proved this week (again) why he is the true leader of the Losties. Allowing Jack to play soldier of fortune but cracking the whip when he was about to make a critical tactical error in execution. Charlie's impending doom. I'm a big believer in killing off main characters so the idea of Charlie going down for the dirt nap appeals to me. |

mason, I was expecting Desmond to appear too. Seemed like the exact same scene to me... I can't help but wonder if that was intentional, but maybe I'm just reading too much into things since they obviously weren't the exact same scene. Just seems odd that he would be playing the same song in both, it would start raining in both, etc.
Overall I was pretty bored with this ep, but I know it's just a set up for the season finale so whatever. I'm sure next week will be amazing. |

It rains a lot in London. This scenario is simple and makes sense. 2. There is some kind of parallel universe thing going on. |

It was a really quick shot - but did anyone notice Naomi in that scene where Charlie was playing in the rain? Maybe it wasn't her - but I thought I saw her standing on the street.

Did Desmond interact with Charlie in that scene? Because if he didn't , it could have been the same scene, just shot from a different angle where you didn't actually see Desmond. It was my impression that it was meant to be the same scene, way too coincidental otherwise.

Well they both said they were from Manchester so it wouldn't suprise me. Also, there have been a ton of people from the island showing up in others flashbacks. This shouldn't be much of a suprise.
According to lostpedia, the women that Charlie helps is Nadia the girl that Sayid loves. I don't think it's spoilerish since it happened in the episode. |
