Whoa .. Gerber and Gigeure are too high up on this list, IMO. Gigeure especially, since he will probably split time with Bryzgalov until they find a solution to that problem. I'd also move Kari Lehtonen up. I think MA Fleury should be on this list instead of Kolzig - both play behind horrible defenses, but MA is 12 years younger.

Yeah, my list was far from perfect, I think Gerber is a safe pick because he will start in Ottawa and he should finish top 10 in wins. Giggy is prob too high on the list, and one can add Fleury near the bottom of the list too, tho the Pens defense could be the worst in the NHL.

It is a keeper league (right?), that's why I figured MA Fleury is a good pick. Might not work out this year but in 5 years it'll look pretty solid.

Personally I wouldn't pick Huet because the Habs really didn't improve at all this off-season and I feel that Huet may have gone on a fluky run last season. Same with Roloson.

Speaking of goalies, Ed Belfour signed with the Panthers.

Still waiting for the Gomez arbitration decision..

Fluery is taken... these people are hooked on prospects. So most youngsters are gone. So you would take Theodore, Roloson, Huet in that order?

In non-fantasy news... the Sharks ink Bell to a 3 year deal and Ehroff gets two years. Awesome news, we basically gave up an offensive d-men (Which Ehroff and Carle both are, so Preissing wasn't a total need) and a prospect for a 1st line power forward for 3 years. I'd take Huet. You already have an older goaltender, get the young guy in there. He should start a good chunk of the year, and will be good in the future.

Technically, the Devils are now sitting at just over $47 million over the cap with Gomez's award. With Gionta, David Hale, Paul Martin, Erik Rasmussen and perhaps a veteran backup goalie yet to sign.

LOL @ the Devils indeed.

And when the Devils are out of cap hell after next season, with having signed four core players until the beginning of the next decade and staying in competition for a Stanley Cup every year (as usual), what then?

SABRES FRENZY!!

Signed Pominville, Lydman, and Connolly to multi-year deals.

Along with plans to use this jersey for 15 games this year to coincide with the launch of their new jerseys:
