I played 100nl with $760 when moving up. Depends how good you are. Knowing what I know now abotu how easy that level was, I don't think it was a big mistake. I think if you have more than a 10 buyin downswing at 100NL, you suck at poker - or at least sucked during that timeframe.

I got coached by shipurstack (no idea what he charges, could be 200/h or so by now) and I'm having my best month ever after a breakeven one before I got coached last month. Just cracked 5 figs after 25k hands of 100nl and 200nl hu.

I dont play msnl so take that fwiw, but shipurstack plays anything from 3/6-10/20 on FTP

If you don't have skills enough to beat NL200 then any amount would be okay I guess. But you don't need 100k online to deal with the swings.
