[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] All, I'd recommend not paying for a car with cash. Get some sort of small loan to establish credit. edit: obv only for the youngins [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I just got boned by bad credit. I have plenty of cash in the bank, and can prove I've made six figures in 2006, yet NO ONE would rent to me in a nice area I wanted to lvie (I had to get my mom to co-sign) because my credit is in the 500's because basically my only credit history is based off a couple small credit cards that I paid lazily (and had balances of like $200.) [/ QUOTE ] I have basically no work history, no current job, and absolutely no credit history and I got an apartment (without any upfront payments or extra deposits) just by telling them that I play online poker I found that to be somewhat amusing. [/ QUOTE ] hah. I find it hard to believe someone with tons of cash on hand would be turned down to rent an apartment. If it was me, I'd just offer X months in advance. Nobody turns down cash up front. [/ QUOTE ] They never verified that I had any money. That's what was so weird about it. They told me I'd need to provide at least a bank statement, but then they never followed through at all. [/ QUOTE ] I just signed a lease a couple weeks ago and this is what I had to do. I had to send them a bank statement. |

loooooooooooooool plastikcards what a fish [/ QUOTE ] not saying fish. just saying he MIGHT want to think about game selection(there are much softer games HU than playing someone who you will win <1ptbb/100 against). of course don't most hu regs think they have some huge edge vs everyone? [ QUOTE ] with table description, it seems like 1 buyin would be pretty disappointing [/ QUOTE ] 1st. its FR, game wasn't playing agrro cept for the spewtard 2nd. I had AA 3 times, twice everyone folded pf, other time guy folded flop, also got no action w/1010 on A,10s,4s flop when 5 others saw flop. 3rd. It was the easiest 2k I've made all year. ill take it |

I had to send them a bank statement. [/ QUOTE ] I just signed a 6 month lease for a condo rental place in San Diego that you could just lease online. I filled out the application and someone called me in two hours and I walked right in and signed some things and that was it. I just told them how much I make per month (I just averaged this year) and then they did a credit check (I'm around 730) and that was it. Also my credit report lists my current occupation as "Self Employed Poker". It was way easier than I imagined. many places around me needed income verification so I had to pass on a few I really wanted, but this was one really nice too. |
