If you have the discipline to move down accordingly, go for it. Otherwise I predict busto soon . Stick to proper BR management !

I have beat up to 600nl but am pretty weary of moving back up quickly because the games are a lot tougher at MSNL Now

Anyway, I know how you feel VPIP100, Ive been running at a comfortable 9ptbb/100 at $50nl this month (15k hands there) but every shot I take at $100nl goes sour. So Im just going to grind out $50nl untill May 1st. Its just frustrating to know if those 10k hands played at diff levels wouldve gotten me a lot more cash if I had played $50nl lol

trigger it all depends on what kind of game you construct ... If you run a snaredrum tight aggro rocksolid game like I did last month, you will actually not need to float ... only to adjust your 2nd barrel frequency. If you run a looser game, then well ... actually there is not much theoretical about playing all the FPS style stuff, it just takes good reading [/ QUOTE ] Gelford, Thing is that with my current competition I can run 22/17, which is not overly loose but looser than the style you mentioned. My hands that I miss but cbet are probably close to break even but still positive because current villians are not aggro on the turn either and allow me to suck out. I rarely second barrel with air. My big hands make me a lot of money because of my frequent cbetting (villians realise that they are beat when it's too late). I suspect that with moving up there will be a point where I won't get away with that style anymore. All it would take to beat me right now would be to 3bet pre-flop or to float me mercilessly. Of course, eventually I would adjust and figure out things to counter that strategy but I'd also like some theoretical foundation for that. You provided some of this foundation in your video when situations came up and I think it might be possible to go for a more abstract level by not taking situations as they play out but by trying to find ways to categorise types of situations into groups and then analysing them with respect to: <ul type="square">[*]What opportunities these situations might present to us and what they probably won't[*]How much we could bet/raise[*]What we want to happen if we bet/raise[*]How sure we have to be that this would be what happens[*]What to do if it doesn't happen[/list] Not sure if I can get accross what I mean but I'm still stuck in even finding these situations at all because I don't know what to look for. |

Well there are several ways to approach poker.
The style I advocate in my vid is by far the easiest. It rest on an assumption that villians at the table are too loose, so you can affort not to struggle for the blinds. And all you do is aiming for an unexploitable game, a game where you basically get your big hands paid of and adjust bluffing frequencies (Neutral EV), so that your overall EV on your range (and here I mean your big hands) is the largest. This style is not optimal for all games, but with tableselection it is a rocksolid approach. It is a simple style, but it can easily be explained and will serve you well at least up to 200NL. Running 27/24 or what ever I run now is harder to explain, I fo sho have no idea what I am doing these days |

Question for the europeans:
What is the best 20 inch monitor I should get, taking both price and quality into account? I've heard good things about the samsung and dell, but how about other brands? HP has one aswell right? Any other brands I should look into ? |

Dunno ... rumour has it that the individual components are all made at the same factory anyway.
I have the 204b, love it !! (but truth to be said, I have no choise in the matter, as I one day just decided I wanted a new monitor, at it was the only one avaible if I didn't want to wait) |
