The point is that this is the first time that a hugely profitable gambling site has tackled poker like this. Others that offer the huge rakeback deals have no advertising budget, wsex certainly does if it cares to. However they need to spend the money to get this to the fish's attention and until they have done that then this will remain a small site with more profitable games going on at other sites which have rake.

Its a wait and see as far as I'm concerned, but I wish them well!

Maybe it's me, but don't they need to clarify when the rake will get paid back and how exactly this will be done. If i win...i don't usually..but if i win a pot that is raked 2.00...will that 2.00 come back to my account. I was reading a post about contributed rake.

Who knows why they are doing this. I'll tell you this though. If they become wildly successful, Party will have to consider buying them out before a rake free site becomes to popular.

Something about this site doesn't seem right. Try talking to the players at your table. No one ever responds, despite the fact that there's no way to turn off chat (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

EDIT -- Not to mention tons of limp-reraising/capping preflop, followed by folding to a single flop bet. Plus tons of monster hands.

Yeah, OK, maybe they just don't like to chat or whatever. Also I believe you can turn chat off in the client, which would explain.

On the other hand I noticed an interesting thing happening:

Yesterday there was a severe server slowdown/ connection issue for me at all tables. Interestingly at my both tables that time there were 3-4 people insta-booted from the game and never ever returned to action. All of them sat out for like 30 minutes and then they were gone.

How likely is it that you are the only player/ one of the two players returning to action while the other 3 or 4 players will never show up again after a slowdown?
