I don't think this has been formally asked yet but has anyone made any progress on fixing the problem where it takes forever to scan all the tables? I haven't heard from support in a while and am getting pretty bummed that I haven't been able to get it to work yet.

Hi,
That's right, you haven't heard much of me lately cause i'm in vacation ( sorry guys ) and not working on PTS right now. I'm just quickly checking my mail and 2+2 forum.

Concerning this problem, a lot of people had their problem fixed when they just compacted or vacuumed full/analalysed their database.
I also have a user who told me PTS is still very slow with its very large old database, but when he started a new database it works fine and fast.
So it looks like there may be a problem with some very large and old database, and i have to admit i haven't found a solution yet. Maybe in some old database, the indexes and tables are just a mess and the queries very slow...
I guess it's better to have multiple medium size databases, than only one very large.
However this problem has only occured with very few users. Contact me at [email protected] and as soon as i come back from vacation, i'll answer you.
Regards
PTS support

Have you tried using the "run with different credentials" method of starting PTS? Make a shortcut, goto advanced and set the option to run with different credentials. Then when you start it, tell it to use the user area where you registered it. You will also have to run a copy of Party and AHK with different credentials to get this working.

As far as the error on the script goes, it seems fine to me still

Have you got the latest version of AHK? If you still can't get it to work I will host a copy and post a link when I get back in.

You have to do it in PokerTracker. Please check the PokerTracker help/website to do it, it's pretty easy

I was having the same problem many of you are having with the program being so slow it was unusable but I figured out how to fix that, or it worked for me at least. This might have been painfully obvious to most of you from the begining but my problem was that under database settings i had both my access and my POSTGRESQL databases checked as active. If you choose just one or the other it works just fine. Hope this works for everyone.

I started up PTS and started the settings but when I tried to start a scan it said "the demo is limited to 5 tables. Please register" even though I had never had any tables scan properly. It continued to work and search teh database even though no results were ever displayed. This looks like a fantastic program but I leery to buy it if the demo won't even let me look at some results to ensure it works.
