I can't believe your friend is not going to jail?!?
He killed the guy in cold blood. If the robber made a move with his gun or something it's ok, but he just stood there and mouthed off your friend and your friend just shot him dead. That seems wrong to me and looks like 2nd degree murder.
I'm not sure about American laws but i'm sure you would be in trouble in Canada if you shot someone dead like that.

This might be the dumbest post I ever read.

IMHO: Once he comes in and threatens everyone with a gun, he deserves to die. You point a gun at someone, and you're liable to get killed.

The justice system is really messed up in america... that this guy's family can actually sue the person that protected everyone in that party from being robbed or hurt....

I am pretty confident that under the circumstances I would have just pulled out my gun and shot the guy with no warning. That being said, I don't carry a gun or have one within a reasonable distance in case something like this happened.

Thank god I live in Texas and I'm pretty much allowed to shoot anyone who breaks into my house dead on the spot without fear of being prosecuted. I think if I had a gun in my hand while someone was in the process of breaking into my house I would scream "GET THE [censored] OUT I HAVE A GUN," and shoot 10 rounds if he didn't gtfo.

If I knew that someone had a gun at a party, I'd leave that second.

But then again, I live in Europe, where the "pansy ratio" is apparently high.

GUYS GUYS. Killing someone is wrong and not cool, I agree. But to everyone wondering why the "friend" who killed this guy isn't in jail, I have one word... TENNESSEE!!!!

Went to Memphis about 2 months back as well as Chatanooga. If you see a girl there that looks good, when she opens her mouth you'll think different (brown teeth or missing teeth). If she has nice teeth, shes just fugly. Tennessee is operating probably about 50 years behind some states.

Howdy.

Tennessee... Nuff Said

ps >>> Okay, this is a joke when I say Tennessee is 50 years behind, but I am serious what I said about the girls. Second off, I didn't meet to many educated people there. In fact had a conversation with two high school Biology teachers in Memphis and they were talking about how athletes who take estrogen get roid rage (yes estrogen, they weren't talking about testosterone or its other derivatives).

This is so awesome, and anyone who has a moral problem with a thug lowlife dying is an idiot. Who knows what other evil deeds the would-be robber would have committed in his lifetime, and how many innocent lives may have been saved by removing that grease stain from the gene pool. Once you rob someone with a gun, your rights to a "fair" situation disappear, and if someone pops you, gg.
