CDS,
Add ginger to hot tea.

Anyone interested in an opera/tenor thread? I don't recall seeing a thread about this. I am rather interested because I bought a Andrea Bocelli concert DVD in Vegas and it blew me away.

Inferno,
Wow That sounds uber cool. Any pix or stories to share with us

Haven't seen that one, but I caught a couple of episodes of that History Channel show about the Ice road truckers and now I'm hooked. I think it was their accents that hooked me too. "Aboot."

Also, caught an episode of Meerkat Manor. Those meerkats are pretty awesome little buggers.

The Universe is easily one of the best non fiction shows I've ever seen on TV. I added it to my season pass..but last weeks show on the Sun was sick n this weeks on alien galaxies was facinating.

they should show this [censored] in school..every kid would want to be a scientist

I've often tried to explain to people that the reality of science and the universe is far far more amazing and beautiful and elegant and unbelievable than any fiction that any human could ever make up. I guess pictures on TV probably do a better job than me.

Ballgame hot dog buns are steamed. Not sure if I've ever had one outside that setting though.

I know I'm late but steamed is the MONEY. The real Chicago dogs with the tomatos and onion and everything in there are always steamed buns (and boiled dogs).

Tik,

"I caught a couple of episodes of that History Channel show about the Ice road truckers and now I'm hooked"

I will be surprised if, after a couple more episodes, you are still hooked. I was hooked after the first ep, after the second I thought it was the most boring thing ever.

All,

Newark execution style murders suspect surrendered. Big case, huge national story, check CNN if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, picture of the suspect. CHECK OUT HIS SHIRT, WTF!
