that's another big issue with these polls. people get worked up because they think someone is a 2 (meaning 80% are better looking) while others think she's a 4 (using the normal distribution, meaning 1 sd below average) and really they mean about the same thing.

This isn't true. pirateboy sees no difference between the two in the mcdonald's pic and the 3 1's in the OPs pic #3 and he's FOS.

Alex, you must've missed the posts where we talked about this weight thing.

There is a difference between a 150 pound girl and a 200 pound girl. There is NO difference between a 200 pound girl and a 250 pound girl. Fat is fat. The girl in the OP is not fat, but a little overweight. She doesn't seem to take care of herself all that well, to be honest. She's a 3, but I can understand a 2 or a 4, depending on how ugly the rater is.

These photos remind me of what people used to say about Guam. You know you have been there too long when the women start looking good. I put her at a 4, she could maybe get to 5 if, as you say, the photos are doing her a disservice. What I want to know is why you would subject this poor girl to OOT polling? It is so clear that she is average I can’t fathom where there could be a dispute about this. But, relative to the others around her, she is clearly the Hottie. So if that is what’s causing the debate, I think you must transfer to a new school, pronto.
