How many cents on the dollar would YOU accept right now for money held up by Neteller?

I have 100% confidence that Neteller will return all account-holders 100% of their money, in due course.
If the DOJ confiscates it in its transit beteen Neteller and you, for some trumped up "legal" reason, that's a different matter; but at least you'll be pleased that your Government received 100% of your money for the good of your country. |

I think it would be an interesting poll to find out how many cents on the dollar people think their Neteller balance is worth. Sounds like you're coming in around the 99 range. |

[/ QUOTE ] I cashed out of pokerstars about 3 weeks ago and just received all of my money a couple days ago from some obscure "company" in california. Why would neteller go through the U.S. government when they can just go through something like what pokerstars is using? Why haven't they done so already? These are the questions that make me think the chances are much lower than 100% (by the way, the chances are unequivocally NOT 100%). However, I do think they will try to return all the money. I'm just not quite as optimistic as you. |

I got my money out at 90 cents on the dollar before p2p was closed down.
Right now I'm happy with that. If NETeller releases payments to Americans in the next few weeks, I will (in hindsight) judge my decision as panicky, and won't be happy with .9 on the dollar. If it takes more than another month, I think the vig I paid was worth the access to my money. $0.02 |

.... at least you'll be pleased that your Government received 100% of your money for the good of your country. [/ QUOTE ] Nicely put. Unfortunately, I fear this is the most likely outcome, at least for the $55 million that was caught in transit. Here's a piece of advice for those who think you're in that group - try clicking the cancel button in neteller. I thought I was caught because my neteller balance showed 0.00 and the tran history listed the bank transfer transaction as if it had gone through. But the cancel button next to it was active so I tried clicking it, and lo and behold, the transfer was cancelled and my balance went back up to the original amount. I have now requested a check, and it might be working - at least I got an email from neteller saying the check is in process (but also saying allow up to 6-8 weeks). I'll report back if/when I get a check. |

[/ QUOTE ] I might be totally 100% off here, but didn't Neteller say that if something like this were to happen, they would still pay the money to their american customers (out of the pocket)? Actually, don't they have to because of international law? Again, I might be totally off here. |
