[ QUOTE ] Didn't Black have a 5m chip lead with 6 left, and still finished 5th? [/ QUOTE ] I know he had over 1/3 of the chips in play when they were 5 handed and went out 5th...not sure exactly what his lead was. [/ QUOTE ] When it was at 5: 1. Black - $21,750,000 2. Barch - $12,560,000 3. Kanter - $10,300,000 4. Dannenmann - $6,550,000 5. Hachem - $5,100,000 |

The next one out gets a $247,399 payday. (Kyle Bowker went out as the last at this payout, 37th place as I wrote this post.)
After that, the eliminations for the next 9 rise another $82,000 bucks to $329,865. The final 9 eliminations today will get paid $494,797, (another bump of almost 165K). GG Rizen into the top 5! 29 Dustin Holmes, (2+2 imthedirt) at 1,150,000 and (edit +$200K) 31 Doug Kim, (2+2 technologic) at 875,000 (n/c) C'mon Double Up Hand! |

[ QUOTE ] I know itsn ot only FE, but he said it was, so he would push with any 2, right? Btw, i know its not the worst push ever, i just dont see the point of it. The payouts are climbing fast, no need to risk so many chips like this. Btw, of course SB folded, button had already called. SB would need a monster to call with 2 guys in the hand. [/ QUOTE ] For christs sakes, like 10 people have already said it, the SB was the one who called him with QQ [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Rob Berryman Doubles Up Rob Berryman raises to $100,000 on the button. Rob Roseman re-raises to $350,000 from the small blind. Ricki Nielson re-raises all-in and has both players covered. Berryman makes the call and Roseman folds. Nielson shows A 3 and Berryman shows Q Q . The board comes KJ748 and Berryman doubles up to $3,520,000 and Nielson takes a hit down to $1,600,000. [/ QUOTE ] huh? |

[ QUOTE ]
With regards to chips -- and this is mere speculation -- but I assume, for branding purposes, ESPN/Harrah's may have an interest in keeping the chip denominations small so that when the event hits TV, the players are constantly pushing monster stacks around at the FT, even if it takes more time and is annoying for the dealers and players alike. [/ QUOTE ] But they won't be pushing monster stacks. They'll be tossing in this:

And I think Hachem was actually in the neighborhood of $2,000,000 in chips at some point during the final table. |
