You realize you don't stack someone everytime you flop a set.

You said a preflop fold was bad because of "implied odds" I responded by saying, you realize you don't stack someone everytime you flop a set. I actually have no idea who you inferred the idea that I suggested folding sets.

You obviously need to do a LOT more reading to understand the poker concepts I am throwing at you. But don't be discouraged, you are among the other 99% of this forum who also don't get it.

I probably play this about the same way, except I'll generally bet a little more on the flop. After you're raised, I think it's a clear fold.

Please stop posting here. Flop is a clear fold and I think lead fold is just spewing. Check fold definetly is better. PF also very well could be a fold because you're oop and are putting in about 8% of your stack just playing for set value.

His actions corresponded to an overpair. I don't think AK minraises there. I felt like he was trying to value bet me?

[/ QUOTE ]

1. You aren't putting in 8% of your stack every time. He's calling for 2% of his stack, then calling the raise for another 6%.
2. I think not making some attempt at the pot when you have an overpair is ridiculously weak. Check folding to a pre-flop raiser makes the game so easy for him.
