[ QUOTE ]
From 2002 up to about mid-2005, Party was the biggest fish pond in the online world.

The games on Party are no longer any better (and in some cases, they're worse) than many of the other online sites. I'm amazed at how many players feel like someone from Party is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to play there. The thousands of good players who are playing anywhere from four to ten tables on Party have made the games significantly worse.

Can anyone do the math to determine what the points/hand ratio is for 10/20 at gold level? I'm estimating around 1.34.

I need 2060 points for $170.

I am Silver, so it's just over 120 raked hands at 3/6 per day over 14 days. Not bad.

I have yet to receive my offer, but I have been promised one several times by Party VIP support. So I'll judge based on how reasonable my offer is.

HOWEVER, this appears to be a good promotion. They set what appears to be a very achievable bonus (i'm assuming, based on the offers I've seen here), and then they offer to double it. BUT, they do so in increments. That's pretty generous of them, because then it's not an all-or-nothing deal.

Can someone tell me how to tell if you are "Gold", "Silver" , etc.? It was obvious before they upgraded the software but now I can't seem to find it. I suck at finding stuff BTW. You can ask my wife . Thanks.

Anyway, I think Party likes me now. I got $410 for 3730 points which works out to like 33% rakeback (at Silver which is what I was for Acceler8tor). FWIW, I was playing 5/10-10/20 6M during Acceler8tor. I missed my points goal by 9 points on the 6th week and sort of lost heart finishing the thing out. Been playing more at other sites and playing NL200 6M and short stack NL600 full when I do play at Party. Back to limit for the next two weeks at least!

Your PartyPoints target for the promotion period is: 1570 regular PartyPoints.

Just reach this target by Wednesday, May 10, 2006, and we will redeem your points and give you a $190 bonus

17060 points for $790

About 2000 points a day to double it. Should be a cinch. According to my gorilla math it figures out to be about 23% rakeback.

This promo sucks, though.

Gotta love the BS "our VIP team is working on the new promotion so it's EXCITING!" excuse they gave for the last three weeks only to regurgitate the stupid acceler8tor promo.

At least it's not a PLAY 9234234 HANDS IN THREE DAYS FOR A WSOP PACKAGE although that will probably come soon.

F U Party.

OK, so they give you cash but take away your party points. Does this mean the bonus will affect MGR? or is it looked at as buying cash with your points?
