actually this will never work b/c people like building sweaters will come and sit at my tables for "fun" and make it impossible for this to be fair.

I like being proven right so I wouldn't get in your way.

Playing a rediculous amount of poker hands for one month is very different from doing it for a year. A great analogy would be people who make a new years resolution to get in shape, workout hard for a month and then sit around on the couch for the next 11 months.

i personally think 100k in 1 month of 3/6 NL is far easier than 1 million in 1 year of 3/6 NL

There are so many ways for Zeebo to get cheated here. I'm not going to list them off because people will get ideas; but if I were Zeebo I would make the bet with only one person and make sure that I would trust that person completely.

Zeebo,

100k in a month is muuuch more likely than 1 million in a year. Also, if something like this ever worked, you would have to put a cap on the number of hours you would play. You said it could be done relativley easily in 3 hours a day, so would that be a provision in the bet?

Also just to be clear, because i am not as AWESOME as you are in poker, i don't have 100k that i would comfortably through into a prop bet. I mean if a bunch of people are allowed to do it i would throw in 10k depending on the hourly cap... but generally i would be more than happy to let this die.

If you will outline all the rules and discuss ways to stop cheating (by you and others) I will bet you 20K. This will not be simple discussion and I have a feeling that this thread will soon be forgotten. I also agree that this is far easier than 1M over a year, but still very challenging.

I'm with you, but only have 1K to bet.

That makes $21K so far.

Anyone else? If enough of us get together, maybe we can make it worth the Cpt's time.

zeebo,

i wont make this bet cause there is no way to verify conclusively that you are the only one playing on your account. if there was someway, then i would bet a few hundred thousand you couldnt make 1.2 million/12 months at $3/$6...

ggbman, I was just giving an example of the math in how it wouldn't be that hard, not saying I'd definitely be able to do it with only 3 hrs/day. But lets just assume I played 6 hours a day, you'd see how much leeway I'd have.

kkf, yeah there's lots of logistical problems which will make this bet impossible. I tried deleting the thread shortly after I posted it, but it was too late.
