Ah. In that case yeah much more interesting, cuz you'd have to beat all of them to stay in this thing. And KK isn't likely to improve much.

It'd depend on the exact situation.. if you are the 2nd biggest stack compared to the 3 callers, you would call with KK probably, otherwise you wouldn't in that situation, I think.
I'm not sure what difference "isn't likely to improve much" makes here. It's not like you'd call with 87s after all. |

[/ QUOTE ] I actually don't think that it would be a fold with one less person anyway..the three guys' stack sizes aren't really close enough to each other..not to mention that MP who has the shortest stack is the person I would figure to have the greatest chance of winning. as this hand went..everyone stayed in..we won in order of shortest to biggest stack..me, MP with QQ, then the third shover with AK then opener with KJ..but I have over t6000 after it so I really didn't mind that no one got knocked out. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] There is also the fact that if he folds, then it's on the bubble and he's the 2nd shorty, with the button on life support.. .. but [censored], you have KK. No way in hell I fold here. [/ QUOTE ] if these were QUEENS i'd advocate a fold, and this question would be more interesting, but ya. [/ QUOTE ] oh there's no way I would fold this ..but if there was one less person I might...the all-in stacks might have to be a little more even as well..although the blinds would hit shortie first. [/ QUOTE ] someone somewhere is posting on a 4*4 forum with this exact hand, posting his hole cards as QQ, and everyone is telling him to fold. that person is in white: the one that had QQ in your hand!! |

Right. I'm just saying calling with KK as the hand actually played, is much different than calling with KK in the hypothetical.
In order to win either hand, there is a very good chance we'd have to improve. In the actual hand we are in such a position that we have little choice, we pretty much gotta take the opportunity despite the fact we don't stand to win this alot. In the hypothetical, we could back into the money by folding, so the fact that the hand is not likely to improve is more meaningful. Or I'm high. |

Only hand you are scared of is AA. That will come up but not as much as them all havingg Ax, or a pocket pair you'v got destroyed. There is a large possibility two of the 3 players have an ace each, which leaves about two outs to beat your pair.
Don't even think. You are never folding here, unless you don't like money. You have the second best hand possible. You will quadruple up far too often to fold and leave yourself struggling for a crappy third place payout. -Tick |
