this is bad.

raise turn for sure. River definitely call. He could have AA, KK figuring bb would fold pf and he'd have a disguised monster. He could have 65, AQ, whatever, river is a call.

That being said, if folds like this are a leak of yours (and it looks like they are), in addition to vowing to study to correct this, I would also recommend fast playing your big hands, so you're not in these spots as much in the meantime.

regarding turn play, i really don't mind the call here given stack sizes and board texture and the fact that this dude keeps betting into us pretty hard. it is often a bluff and he might just do what he did on the river, and it is often someting like two pair that barring a board pair will definitely push river or bet it hard whereas might find a fold if we push.

the hilariousness of this fold is that you are putting villain on this range: sets. all he has done is bet, never called a raise. if you are only calling rather than raising, you certainly must have a wider range for him than "sets."

Gross turn and river play...

[/ QUOTE ]

turn play ain't so bad. and gross is not quite the word to describe the river play. gross has too much of a hint of seriousness about it.

losing that much money on a boneheaded play is serious.
