[ QUOTE ]
The loose-aggressive style rarely wins over the long haul. You might want to move your game to the Tight-Aggressive area (if you can). Go down in the limits and start winning a little at a time to get your confidence back. Good Luck [/ QUOTE ] This may be hard to hear, but I very much doubt you are even a winning player. You had a nice run early on. A lot of players do. But there are few players who are beating 10/20 after a few months play. I agree with Gut SHot. Tighten up and start at the bottom. |

Alright, here we go..30K from $600.
First off, how is your game, honestly....good, bad, or ugly? The Bad: You lost 30k at 10/20...this means that you probably can't yet win at that level (although 15 buy-in swings are fairly common). The Good: You could very well be a winning player at lower limits even though you are "probably" a loser at the 10/20. You might even be a decent winner...but be honest with yourself. The ugly...Losing 30K on credit is a sign that you could have a gambling issue. This game does not lend itself well to compulsive types. Be honest with yourself...that's all I will say about the issue. Should you choose to work your way up, you will probably want to work up from near the bottom. You must start at the 25s, or, you might want to start at the 50s (you have a moderate shot of going broke there). If you start at the 100s, you have a high shot of going broke...but....this is your decision. Secondly, you will have to multitable. I don't know if you do this already, but you will need to now. You will probably have to play 5 hours a day to make $100 at the 25s (if you 8 table). Good luck! |

You probably suck at poker and don't know it. Drop down to 1/2 NL and learn the fundamentals and teach yourself proper bankroll management. Read the forums.

If this is your first year, its very likely you dont have enough knowledge about Bankroll Management. I suggest you grind it out at lower stakes till you have 20 buyins for the next level.

You have $600 right? Play 3/6 NL, you've got a full buyin, more than enough to stand the variance you can experience in poker.
