Raise, bet, raise, bet, bet, raise is just more fun than fold, fold, fold, fold, raise, fold, fold, fold etc.

The most common characteristic of a tilter is wanting to play way too many hands (typically to recover losses). This is related to point one. In a short-handed game, a maniac is going to be justified in re-raising his A7o preflop. He'll lose in the long run, but probably slower than when trying to pull the same stunt against 8 or 9 opponents.

You also get the "TAGs" who three bet your UTG raises with weak aces and other crap. I'm pretty sure these are also the same people who are perpetually whining about downswings on here.

this is where reads help. Id have a hard time 3betting a true tag utg opener with something like A5o or A6o. I could do it with A8s though. but this depends on who he is and if he likes the folderson or the callerton.

v true. this is why I now only try to play games shorter than 6max (except when playing a ton of tables) anything other than that puts me to sleep. Full ring limit is pretty boring, as is NL especially after playing a ton of HU and 3-4 handed limit games.
