Night before last I lost connection and when I came back 7/10 people had disconnected and were sitting out.

Basically, with the constant lost connections on pp, i'd say my winrate has dropped at least a full bb/100. its that bad.

pokerstars, ye are looking like a better and better alternative each minute.

Almost same thing happened to me on Bodog....

I complained, and they credited my account with Bonus money of what I had put in the pot. They wouldn't give me what I would have won...but at least I got to "earn" back what I put in.

There is another computer in my house and I have considered having it ready to go just in case my computer spontaneously decides to reboot or crash or I lose connection. Don't know if I could make it down the stairs and login in time though.

thats a good idea re a 2nd computer. maybe i should just have 2 computers...a purely poker computer (maybe pt and pahud would run faster if they were the only other programs on my cpu in addition to pp?)

also, thered be no spam or viruses that i get from regular internet surfing...id save that for the main computer... hmm

Dude, this is sad. Download Spybot Search and Destroy. Download Ad-Aware SE personal edition. Download ZoneAlarm personal firewall. Download Avast anti-virus software. Install Spybot. Install Ad-Aware SE. Install Avast AV. During installation, all of these programs should update their definition files. Unplug your puter from the internet. Run Spybot. When it tells you it needs to reboot and run upon reboot, do it. Run Ad Aware. Install ZoneAlarm. Turn it on. Connect your puter to the internet again.
