1. Bet at the flop here. Bet the pot. If your opponent raises you, make a decision to either take a stand and push all your chips or to fold. What you did here was basically committ yourself to the pot, while giving him a chance to put all his chips in. Force him to make a harder decision by betting out.

2. If you are going to check/raise, then push all-in.

Silverlining -
Due to effective stack sizes, a c/r all in is much better than a b3b. b3b has no folding equity as villain will be pot comitted by the time you 3bet.
