Even with a bigger pot you're wasting your time waiting until the turn against unknowns. $Sklansky are nice to talk about, but you can't buy much with 'em, and "protection" in a .5/1 game means getting an opponent to fold, not to call with incorrect odds. The fact that they WILL call with incorrect odds = value, which is what you're really going for, and the way to make that happen is to make the pot big enough on the flop that they don't want to fold the turn. As Abs said, Hero played spot-on as long as he called on the end. |
