1. call. i'm not sure it is +EV, but i think it's really bad to get post-oak bluffed.
2. isn't $5 ~1/3 pot ($14)? 3. we are getting 30% pot odds right? pass. |

I think you need to put in a pot sized raise and I would fold to a push. Diamond flush draw is possible, KQ and AQ of diamonds possible. If he is on QJ or any 2 pair he is likely to push if you reraise to kill any flush draw.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] donk bet is small, raise here, raise pot size [/ QUOTE ] I do not like a pot sized raise unless you are willing to go AI..A PSR is to $11.25...I would raise to $6-$7 and fold to a shove...A smaller raise changes draw while still giving incorrect odds and allows us to not committ our stack should villain shove... [/ QUOTE ] In considering a smaller raise of 6 or 7, you'd still be at or past the 1/3 stack commitment threshold (albeit slightly). I'm willing to shove here, maybe it's a leak, but I can see your line [/ QUOTE ] Why is 1/3 of a stack committed???? The purpose of the smaller raise is to get value from villain's weaker made hands, charge the draws and protect our hand without committing us to play for stacks if villain makes it obv we are beat..If villain 3 bet shoves after we have showed aggression every step of the hand I see no way our AA is ever good.. |

So everyone wants to raise then not fold because we've got alot of cash in the stack? Whats bad about calling? Do you think we're ahead or behind? Range? [/ QUOTE ] I definitely think we're ahead but there are so many draws that he can have, and I tend to think that a donkbet like this is a flush draw that hit top pair, or just a draw in general that wants to block to see the river cheap. Could also be a jack. We get a call from everything but a jack if we raise. Depending on villain he could shove if he has QXd, or T9d or something, which is why I don't like to fold.. but I think we almost have to raise. |

I raise to $9 and call a push, shove any river.
Edit: Range for villain. Donīt forget hands like AQ and KQ that peeled the flop, they are going to feel like they hit the jackpot. A flushdraw that just improved with a gut shot. A slowplayed KK, so many hands villain could have the he will consider the nuts. |
