Saw it on High Stakes Poker as well. We tried it in our last home session and guess what happened...no one was dealt 72 all night. This was the funniest thing to watch. People were always thinking that eveyone was raising with 72, and it never happened. I laughed all the way home.

I do believe that it changed the texture of the game somewhat, but after some thought I have come to this conclusion: I play in games that are small stakes and there isn't anyone in this game that would lay down KK like Mike the Mouth did on High Stakes Poker. This, in my opinion, makes it hard to justify the 72 rule.
