folding is so effing weak. At 5/10 people making testing raises all the time and this seems like one of them [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I agree, I call here at least once. |

in 3 betting awful here? i think it is a pretty good spot to semi-bluff where you are flipping often, if he has a set you have 9 outs, he probably doesnt have AA or KK, the only time you are really screwed here is if he has a made flush higher than yours or like AQ with A spades. [/ QUOTE ] 3 betting is not so good because there are lot of hands that are "close" and he may make a close call which turns out to be quite ahead of you in this situation. 3 betting here is not that good because he could potentially call with a lot of hands. Flop check isnt awful yes? But as played, seems like a b /f |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, there is basically no hand that fits your description. every hand that is "quite ahead" of us is a pretty easy call for villain. i like shoving. folding is too weak and if we call then we're going to be oop and have no idea where we stand on any turn card. with a decent draw and decent made hand i'd like to be ai on the flop. with AxAx or maybe AsKx i'd be happier about calling (but would still push AK). |
