Villain is a donk. On the flop ... AT, KT, QT, JT, flush draw, 78, A6, A4 we beat. Check/min-raise usually means a feeler bet or a draw. If he shoves you really shouldn't give him enough respect to fold. He's an idiot.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] This line makes absolutely no sense. If you were going to do this on the turn, why not just do it on the flop instead of giving him a chance to re-evaluate? You're obviously crushed... I mean, what hand is he going to min-raise the flop and then 3-bet the turn that doesn't beat JJ? You should have 3-bet the flop to like $20 and then folded to a push. [/ QUOTE ] This line makes sense to me is ebcause we have position on the flop and were min c/red and we called to evaluate on river. When Villain bets so small on such coordinated board it means his hand is not that strong and raising him would be a good idea in such spot:/ [/ QUOTE ] This is what we call re-evaluating on the turn? This is what I call getting married to an overpair. I think he gets stacked here a pretty high percentage of the time... assuming there is no read here, since I didn't see one in the OP. [/ QUOTE ] QFMFT [/ QUOTE ] i dont get it. So you are saying pushing on flop is better than calling and pushing on turn when our equity is increased? |

i dont get it. So you are saying pushing on flop is better than calling and pushing on turn when our equity is increased? [/ QUOTE ] The point is that you're calling on the flop to "re-evaluate" on the turn. So, you actually have to re-evaluate at some point. Getting raised on the flop and 3-betted on the turn but pushing anyways isn't really re-evaluating, IMO. |

i re reraise that flop. and (maybe) fold to shove. I hate getting min C/R on a flushy board. I'd much rather re raise flop than call the min raise. limp call pre (still dont know why people do it) suggests small PPs or suited cons. make a read and go with it. but dont let limping in and min C/R profitable for these people...

Limpcalling preflop is for small pairs and suited connectors with most villains.
Check/raising the flop is a set very often IMO. If villain is verry aggro and/or has shown to checkraise a draw OOP I reraise the flop and fold to a push. |
