I played DeltaForce as DingChavez back in 98, he was a character in some Tom Clancy books. When RainboxSix came out everybody new the nick and it lost its obscurity. So I changed it to TeckChavez, which stuck with me through my Tribes and Tribes2 days. I kept it when I started playing poker and used it for my 2+2 nick as well. At the time I registered, I didn't realize that your 2+2 nick should be different than your PP nick but at the level I am at I don't think it makes a difference.

My last name is Wiggins and back like 10 years ago, one of my friends randomly started calling me Wiggs to distinguish me from my best friend who happened to share my first name. Then others started doing it. Then I started getting introduced as Wiggs. I like the numbers 7 and 3 for some reason. There it is.

The origin of the name comes from the combination of the names of two good friends of mine from a summer trip, SEth and jaKE. Originally I went by "Gunslinger" in my MUDing days, but had an alternate character named Seke. When I went to play Everquest for the first time, I tried to sign up as Gunslinger and they denied my name since it wasn't fantasy enough, so I went with Seke instead and I've been using it as my online name ever since.
So Seke has been my online alias for most of my gaming days, in MMORPGs and just stuck with it for 2+2. I ended up with the trailing "2" afterwards from when I signed up for some gaming-related message board, forgot my accounts password, and then signed up again and just stuck a 2 after my name. Then I decided it would be too much of a pain to remember what sites I was just "seke" and which ones I was "seke2" so I just went with seke2 everywhere. |

[ QUOTE ]
As for mine, I often used to call up a female friend of mine and say "hey gorgeous." She always retorted, "hey handsome." It became a "nickname" for lack of a better term, and as a big fan of irony I elected to use that for my username. Please note that it bares no semblance to reality, nor do I claim that it does. I am actually, in fact, pretty ugly. How about you guys? I'm pretty curious. [/ QUOTE ] Mine's like yours, the girls call me "pooh" and "crap" etc... Actually, "poohbear" was my poolhall nickname...that's it. |

It contains all permutations of 'gob' - gob, gbo, ogb, obg, bgo, bog. I thought about going with Gebgegbeg, being a fanboy of Godel, Escer, Bach, but I didn't think that was as "pronounceable".

My original 2p2 name was pokerdirty. When Mat started allowing name changes, I decided that it was time to drop the poker part, considering it is a poker site and everyone knows that I play poker here, for just P. P.Dirty is a rip off of P.Diddy, who I'm not really a big fan of, but whatever. P.Dirty is also some Mexican rap dude, but I have not heard his beats.
