Default Re: Beat: 7th place, 6 215$ seats, out on WTFBBQJUSTHAPPENED?

The reason I shoved the river, is if the exact same scenario happens, and I check rather then push, and I lose the hand versus all 3, I am left with 2600 chips in the SB (down to 1600) against all others with much bigger stacks. Either way, I lose or am left down and out with no breathing room to recover.

Meanwhile, by betting, AND winning versus the 2 bigger stacks but losing versus the short stack, my push puts me at 9000 chips versus 4600. Pushing gives me an extra survival option should a bad scenario happen.

I think people need to check the stack sizes and who needed to win before jumping to conclusions and shout out "DONK LOL". If I lose versus both the bigger stacks, but either of them beats the short stack, I am still in regardless since I had a bigger stack.

your bet probably never folds out a better/winning hand, and the hand gets checked down almost every time. what part of not betting don't you get?
