I think the most painful realization
that I was running bad was yesterday,
was trying to do something some spare change
I had at a LIVE $1/2 NL table ($20-60 buyin lol)
and this young rich prick and his friend
were bitchin so much at the floormen that they
got them to open up a $75/150 table (at this casino
normally the highest is a $5/10 NLH or $4/8 LH)...
not being able to sit in that game, knowing he'd
willingly donk off 50k with no problems and not think
anything of it was a lot worse than the 80 buy in downswing .

it's simple play lower limits to build your BR up again or get a job to play higher and don't [censored] up.

not that either of them is much fun...

I don't get it. Poker has paid for your entire life while in college. At one point during your 80 buy-in "downswing" do you take some time off and go, "Hmmm maybe I should look at pokertracker and find the monstrous leaks in game"?

[/ QUOTE ]

I never got around to getting pokertracker as I'd say 80-85% of my play is LIVE recently after all the legislation, but I have HHs and they basically just say that either online poker is rigged or I'm playing employees of the sites lol. Live I ran at $33.24/hr over ~1600hrs play recorded mostly $1/3 and $2/4 $2/5 NLH.
I think I would have come to a realization I have some serious leaks a while ago, but is losing with top set to a rivered gutshot , not hitting a live str8 flush draw against one pair, losing top set to bottom set rivered quads, or losing AA to many random 37 49 KQ A10 off all in pre is that a leak?
Also to note I took a 4 week break off after first 30-35 buyins I dropped in beginning of downswing and felt more refreshed than ever before, but still continued to run unbelievably red.

Oh wait, was it 80 30bb buy-ins ($60 at 1/2), not 100bb buy-ins?

I was playing $3/6 at the peak then moved down to $2/4 and later $1/2 and $1/3, moving down each time when I had around 30 buyins for each level... still got jewed everytime I moved down.
And I'd say it's going to be hard to get something going when I'm offically BUSTO.

Nah traditionally I would max buy in ($300 at $1/3, $500 at $2/5, etc) ... was just talking about yesterday when I was donking around at the $1/2 that has a really weird 30 BB max buy in at my local cardroom.

profbets tried to rip me off with a transfer before. Word of caution to any potential "staker" (aka sucker).
