Default Re: Shreveport/Bossier Poker Question

I like both rooms.

The room at the Shoe feels more "home-y" but it's probably because it's so small and you get crammed into seats.lol I do like the smaller tables at the Horseshoe because they are easier to see the board cards well from all seats etc. $1/hr comps is good, Shufflemasters are great!

The Eldorado isn't all bad and I'm glad for the competition. I don't really like their suede topped tables but the room is big and open with tons of room. Walking up and down isles is very easy and rarely a tight squeeze unlike the Shoe. They have ALOT of very nice friendly dealers too. Now days I play $4/8 almost exclusively and the Horseshoe seems at times to have a better $4/8 game. However, I've found some juicy games at the Eldorado recently.

I like to go to both rooms for a change of scenery. I also like to go where the action/fish are and last Saturday night that was the Eldorado. Get this.....I signed up for a $4/8 seat and they had 4 tables of it running....35 on the list in front of me. 22 on the list for $1/2NL. That is a busy poker room. The wait for $4/8 was well worth it and I got at a table with some horrible players! Oh and the Eldorado has Coke products, being a Harrah's property the Horseshoe only has Pepsi.(YUCK!)

Go try out both rooms. I have to admit I give the Horseshoe a slight edge but not by much. Go where ever you can find the best action with the worst players. That can change from day to day.
