[ QUOTE ]
no problem - the other loser without a life likes to do it to others because he has no life - SUBLIME scum

Does he think he can bully people. Must be a loser in life.

I'd like to change my original reply to include "use of punctuation" as well.

As an aside, this thread will probably be locked soon.

Believe it or not, even communicating with people through a forum or "posting room" is a form of social interaction. And continuing to call people stupid while demonstrating your own stupidity seems rather futile.

To bring this thread back on topic...

Poker sites cant really 'pay for votes'. Advocacy takes a three pronged approach. For truely effective advocacy you need:

1) Lobbying
2) Grassroots mobilzation
3) A political action committee

While the poker industry can lobby and mobilize at the grassroots level, they can not spend corporate money (or in this case, foreign corporate money) on elections. Hence, they cant throw cash at politicans. Even if they could, im not sure you would find many politicans taking this money.

Campaign contributions are the only thing they can't do. Although that is the most substantial "money as a tool" attack, it is not the only.

Has anyone emailed one of the big sites to see if they are doing anything to help this bill not pass?

On second thought, has anyone emailed Stars? Party seems to not want America's business as it is.

HAHAH. Why on earth do people feel the need for personal attacks on a forum for ideas? I just don't understand it. Do people actually feel personally humiliated when people don't agree with their ideas?

You put ideas out there to discuss them; You are not "telling" us anything. You may add something interesting and new, but you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are not special.

I am not a psychology major, but I have read that resorting to personal attacks is an attempt to dodge dicussing the merits of the issues. However, I don't think that was OPs attempt with his insults. I think he may have been hurt by our words.

OP, the eagles do rule. You are a good person. Thank you for your ideas. Have a nice day. Jesus loves you if you are into that sort of thing.
