[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] 8 big bets in the pot. best case scenario, you have 5(combined) outs against you. this pot has too many bets to risk. raise the turn. [/ QUOTE ] If BB was betting postflop I'd agree, but with UTG+1 doing the betting and BB looking like he's married to KK/QQ, I don't see any reason to give BB the impetus to fold or to give UTG+1 the opportunity to 3bet us with an equal/better/worse hand. I might be being a wuss here, but I prefer just call/call/call (especially when the J & T hit on the late streets). [/ QUOTE ] meh. BB is going to have a tough time laying down a premium hand anyway. overly tight players like that get married to good starting hands. if you are really worried about him folding, raise the flop. he'll still usually call down. and it's not like UTG+1 is folding any ace he'd raise pf. my personal opinion on this hand is we missed value and let worse hands draw too cheaply given the pot size. neither of those things are good if you like money. |

BB shows KK (LDO) UTG+1 shows A2s MHIG I'm glad you all picked up on what I missed. I let UTG+1 draw cheaply and BB might've had a hard time getting away from KK anyways. I think I'm raising the flop next time. |
