Well, as described in the OP, you played it awful by betting so weakly at the turn when there were obviously lots of draws out.

As described in the later reply, not as bad, although the flop should definitely be a fold multi-way when you get led into.

Wow you got the action and monetary information wrong on nearly all streets. First of all, there was a pot sized raise pf from the player you described as solid/aggressive. You called next in with KKQ9, that middle aged lady called on the button. Roughly 85 in the pot for the T92 two heart flop. Solid player bets pot first to act, you make a 'questionable' call, lady calls making the pot 340. Turn offsuit J, solid player checks, you bet full pot leaving yourself a tad under 400, lady calls, solid player thinks for roughly 30 seconds and calls. River 2 solid player bets pot, lady folds out of turn, and you go into serious tank/tilt, show your cards to everyone, agonize and then fold. Solid player (me) then shows you a J and a 2.

I just spoke to the old lady, she said that wasn't what happened at all. It actually went down like this...

Am I reading this wrong, or would it be impossible to open raise for $70 with 5/5 blinds and one straddle, wouldn't the max be $40?

Aside from that you HAVE to check this flop out of postion against this many players. Your hand is not strong, and there are not only so many big draws and hands that have you beat, but you have gotten no info from the players behind you.

Turn you've gotta pot it or move the rest of your chips in. Absolutely no reason to give anyone cheap draws at a boat or flush.

Actually you got the action wrong here too. There were two limpers and the player you described as "the old lady" who covered the table minraised. She was a very solid player and was doing this with a wide range to trap you. The flop came T29 with two hearts. You checked and called a bet with KQ33 no hearts from the solid and aggressive middle aged dame, the other two came along as well. The turn was the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and you checked and called a bet from the lady who was just reaching her sexual peak. The river was a J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. You checked and the young maiden bet the pot. You called and she showed you a low flush. How do I know this? I was the beautiful young flower who kept value betting you all night.
