Thats why the tourneys on full tilt are progressively larger in guarantees. For example, the 26 buy in at 8 is something like 16k or 19k, whereas the 26 buy in at 10 est. is 26k. More volume=more fishies=mo monies

I knew guys who would set the alarm for say 2 or 3 a.m. to get up and go play in the clubs in California and Nevada. They'd come in fresh and have an advantage.

I tried this myself a few times, but two things worked against me. One, even though the players tended to be drunk or nearly so, when they saw the fresh me, they tended to tighten up and play smarter--at least for a while, and it took me a few hands to figure out the climate of the table.

But the real problem was--and this is a question you have ask yourself--am I sharp at 3 am? Working nights is unnatural for most people. If you can do it, you will have an advantage. But most people cannot do it for long.
