Dream Theater has done several concerts where the set consists of Dream Theater covering an entire album from start to finish. They've released several "bootlegs" from those concerts: Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast, Metallica's Master of Puppets, and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

I enjoyed the RATM Renegades album. sure it's not as good as thier other studio releases, but it was good. Also, Garage Days Re-Revisited was fantastic, maybe better than anything else they did with Jason Newstead (It's iffy between it and AJFA)

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not a huge Beatles fan, so this may be sacrelige, but the I Am Sam soundtrack has some really good Beatles covers. [/ QUOTE ] oh, hey - George Martin - In My Life - 100% beatles covers including gems like Bobby McFerrin and Robin Williams doing "Come Together", Jim Carrey doing "I am the Walrus", and other superb covers. If you like the beatles it's pretty cool - in fact, it led me to listen to more of their stuff, but Im backwards like that sometimes. |
