Invariably this is done as a defense often after a horrendous preflop or turn call with far the worse hand that hits. Example- someone check calls twice with overs only and rivers their card while getting value bet to death. Note- part of why this is the most annoying phrase ever is because it is often used as a response to a berating for the calls. Last- there is a special followup to this that goes something like this....(same check caller) "Keep betting into me, I can use the money." |
