Hypothetical situation.
You have 99 vs 3 limpers and you know their cards A10s KJs and QJo 1 if you raise 3x they all call 2 if you raise 4x 2 of them call 3 if you raise 6x none of them call and you pick 3BB if they hit on flop some piece of it they going to call your CB. Which option would you choose in the long run and which situation do you think would give you the most profit in current scenario? The reason I am asking is that middle pairs like 99 88 77 don't make more then 3BB/hand in the long run. So whats the best line of play here. Cause there is many times when there are 2-4 limpers and I have 77-1010 and I am wondering should I make standard 3x raise or 4x+1 limper. What do you think? Is limping pairs like that another good option? Because when I'm reviewing my hands I notice that there are lot's of situations when i limped in pot with PP got set and BB or SB got 2 pair and I got paid off huge. If I wouldve raised I would eliminate SB and BB. + If there are 3 limpers and you basicly get set 7.5-1 it's very easy to make profit. It's so easy to make 10-20BB till river if some guy has some piece of the flop in limped pot. But if you raise 3x overs will hit like 70% of the time and you have no clue where you are. So basicly 7.5x3 will be a waste. So once you get a set you need to get about 30BB just to break even. |
