Samoleus,

you come up with an hourly rate and a number of hours per week that over 3 years translate to 5 million dollars 4 tabling. However, party have only had 10-20 NL for, what, 9 months? So even if your 2200 an hour was true it would only be pertinent over the past 9 monhts and thus your total winnings in this game would be WAY less 5 million. So what was the situation - prior to the party 10-20 NL there was another game that you could 4 table for 25 hours a week and make the same hourly rate?

He said he played at other sites before this [censored].

But AFAIK other sites didn't have games as big as 10-20, and those that did they ran very rarely, and when they did you would very very rarely be able to 4 table.

What does it matter to you?

The guy comes on, makes one insightful post. I, for one, was looking forward to more, and 100000 otherwise intelligent posters start questioning whether he really has won the amount that he says he won.

What difference does it make if he has or not?

However, we seem to have lost the chance at some wonderful posts from a clever winning player.

Good job guys.

I don't doubt that you would offer a unique perspective on NLHE that we would all benefit from. You're a great player. You should stick around.

That being said, your winrate claims are that unreasonable. There's nothing to discuss. $2200/hr isn't doable long-term at nl2k and never was.

Sam,

You're making the right decision even if the forum would greatly benefit from your contribution.

I echo bkholdem's comments, just know that you made a difference for many lurkers here.

sam, the way to engage in meaningful discussion on these forums is to talk about specific hands. any thread where people are primarily discussing winrates or any of that other stuff are going to have fairly limited discourse.

you seem like a good guy and good player (I don't remember having played w/you however), and I hope you'll stick around and offer your comments/analysis on the hands people post as well as posting some interesting hands you've played.

Samoleus,
I did not participate in that other thread cause I didn't feel like I had anything to contribute and don't care much for gossip and speculation regarding winrate. However, from your posts it is clear that you're intelligent and play poker very well, and you also seem quite eloquent. I think you would make an awesome poster with a somewhat different perspective, and it's too bad if you're not staying.
