I use pokerstove, obviously.

I put in ATo for player one. Hit preflop page for player two and type in 14 percent in the bottom corner (k9s is just added there, about (you can tell using the slider bar).

The results show your ATo has about 45% equity in this hand, or is exected to return to you of .45 x pot size over an averaged amount of a zillion hands.

Then you double that, and you can see how you fare against a hand thats in the middle of his range... You find ATo has 54% equity against a range of the top 28%.

Going on just a gut feeling here and not with much information on villian, but unless villian is just going on a rampage here and raising all in on every hand, the 3rd all-in always makes me nervous.

Any kind of thinking player has to know that your calling range is dropping and his pushing range should be getting tighter by the 3rd attempt. Let me stress the word "any" because I don't think this is higher thinking.

Obviously this is not what was going on here... BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. This is what would have been going through my mind if I was in your shoes. A,10 is not good enough with that kind of thinking. It also doesn't stack up well using the math as you have seen.

Well this is something new to me,and I'll think about it the next time I'm in this situation, but I'm always going to concerned about whether or not the player is thinking along these lines too;do the rest of you just err with caution in these cases?
