Default Re: Texas Legislature trying to pass a bill for poker rooms

Years ago, they also said "no way in hell we'll ever get a lottery"

Im sure it will take a while but I fully believe poker will be legal here at some point. Probably the next time the State is hurting for money which they arent right now.

My friend posted this to me. It is very easy to email these people through the website. I hope 2+2'ers will contribute.

=====================================

I urge you to take action NOW and email your state representative a quick message stating your support.

Head on over to this site (http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/welcome.php) to find the name of your local rep, then click their name, then click the "email" tab located on the right side of the page and copy/paste the following letter:

Dear Representative,

I am a Texaspoker player and voter in your district. Please support HB 3186 andvote for The Texas Poker Act. This legislation will bring greateconomic benefit to the state of Texas, as well as make poker safe andregulated in Texas. Please help bring Texas Hold'em back home to Texas.

Thanks you for your support,

Your Name Here

Comeon, think how much easier it is to send one email than to fill up yourcar and drive to Louisiana, Oklahoma, or New Mexico every time you wantto roll some dice or play some cards. See you at the tables soon.
