does anyone else think the Republicans are pushing Obama, in case Hillary Clinton wins the nomination, and they need to garner votes from blacks/minorities (that typically turns out in low numbers voting, but would likely come out strong in support of a black Presidential candidate)

IMO the Dem's were going to tout Hillary as the 'first woman pres', and the Repub's are 'playing back' by introducing 'The 1st Black pres candidate'

lol I think..... I think I was saying that, if the Dems nominate some *old white guy* then maybe the Republicans counter with *some other old white guy*, as it looks- we may get the "1st Female Pres. candidate vs. the '1st Black presidential candidate -

an observation really, another one: this site is kinda slow sometimes - and I don't mean the servers -

btw: thanks my TV works fine here in CA

I really like this guy. Probably be the first time I ever vote, has nothing to do with poker, he's just a good sharp dude.

Absolutely the Repubs are pushing Obama.
This seems pretty obvious to me but is still a wonderful observation on many levels.
But they need to watchout because the Dems are surely going to counter with a strong push for McCain.
I also heard that the Green Party is engaged in serious talks with Pat Buchanan as their 2008 candidate.
