I trust the sites I use with my money, btw, it's the people between them and me that are the problem.

BINGO! This is what so many people here are failing to understand.

That's why poker sites should have an ABSOLUTE policy that if you show up at such-and-such place (e.g. a certain bank in Geneva, Switzerland) with a passport ID and can answer your account's security questions, you have an absolute right to be given your money in cash.

Now, a lot of people would just decide to keep their money in the account without going to the trouble. But the absolute right to withdraw your money in cash has to be there, IMO or I would not keep any large amounts online.

Well both Ultimate bet and Absolute poker say they can not pay affiliates by check anymore.

Huh? My money goes directly into my site account for both of these sites, why would they need to cut the affiliate a check?

From Ultimate bets affiliate web site:

Due to new banking restrictions, UB will not be issuing affiliate payments via check. If you have selected check as a payment method, then please use your player account or ePassporte account as a means of receiving your monthly affiliate payment instead.

I assume peer to peer transfer will always be an option again. Have someone cashout and send you a check from Canada etc...I don't think it will ever come to this...worst case I think sites will ban US players but still have some type of method to cash out. Maybe just wishful thinking....That all said I will still be looking to reduce my online roll once confirmation that sites have other companies outside of Chexx processing them. Anyone have info on Absolute? I emailed but they just stated the 3 options to cash out and made no reference to what processor they use even though I asked about Chexx in the email.
