Jack's going to be gruff and unshaven at the start of the new season, but by the end of the first episode I bet he's a clean-shaven torturing machine. The problem is they already did this in season 2.

It sucks because I just got done watching season 1 on dvd, and I havn't bought season 2 yet [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Havn't watched any episode from any other season either.

I've never watched the show but I keep seeing the ad for "special 4 hour -two night premiere". What kind of stupid gimmick crap is that? It's such a stupid idea and it doesn't even make sense, this alone makes me not want to watch.

bad writing which is dumbed down to make everything painfully obvious to even the slowest viewers

Characters talk/act unrealistically (I don't care about the realism of the show in general)

OK, how does this not make sense?

They want people to watch the show.
Watching the show requires dedication/obsession.

What better way to tie people into the show then have them watch the first 4 hours in 2 days?
