So what the hell is happening to Party Store?

Someone posted on here recently they are adding cash + tournament entries to the party store.. Might be true..

Okay, so what if the store is closing ... I didn't want any of the merchandise (and I don't have enough for anything cool). Did anyone explain what will happen to the remaining points after the store closure? Hold on to them? Lose them entirely?

(If I had received the email ... it is now lost when my main machine crashed.)

I am Canadian and I recieved the email. I have no idea why they are supposetly closing their store (for all countries?)

This will only scare off new fish and piss off regular customers. People will start to play at stars/fullT so they can generate points and get a free hat or something [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If they did that, it'd have to be at a worse rate than the VIP promos, so it'd be fairly pointless for most of us. On that note, the current promo is pretty good actually - 4.5c per point, plus the milestones, I've got something like $400 just playing my regular amount, unlike the earlier promos...

FWIW I just emailed party on this subject, told them Im from Australia and got this standard response. I hope the "new information" is made available before the 16th

Dear XXXXXX,

We are refurbishing the Party Store. On 16th January 2007, we will be removing all of the merchandise that is currently in the Party Store. Items that go out of stock will be removed from the store. You can use your points now if you would like to purchase any of this existing merchandise until 16th January 2007.

Orders placed until 16th January 2007 will be processed as normal. We will continue to remove items that go out of stock Before 16th January 2007.

We will be introducing new items to the Party Store, including Cash for Points and Tournament Buy-ins. More information about the new look store will be available soon.
