The large plastic bottles that Coke/Pepsi etc come in - specifically the 5 round "feet" on the bottom of them.

In the good old days, bottles came with flat bottoms. Then someone came up with the idea that you could save space when transporting them if you changed the flat bottoms for those bumps - it allows you to fit more bottles into the same volume for bulk transportation.

Unfortunately it means the bottles are much easier to knock over. You only have to tip one of these bottles a few degrees and over it goes, fizzing up inside and precluding you from opening it for a few minutes.

Ever had more than one of these bottles in plastic carrier bag with other items? When you put the bag down, one or both of the bottles overbalances, often taking the bag over with it.

Oh, those infernal bumps on the bottom of plastic bottles!

In an ideal world, stuff like this is a great idea, but imo it never works often enough to really prove effective/save time.

Things I dislike:

Waiting, in almost any concept, horrible about it.

People who don't follow obvious directions.

Flying for reasons relating to unreasonable fear and being fat.

Some good ones there, kipin. I can relate.

1. I am a couple inches over six feet, and I often get uncomfortable in cars. Even if my legs can stretch out okay, sometimes when a small car goes around the corner quickly, I gotta watch out or my head will hit the side of the roof, and if we go over a bump, I'll bounce up and my head will hit the top. Grr! I often get out of cars grouchy.

2. Super-vapid girls are not pleasant, I can dig that too. It's pretty close to outright scary to hear some of the dimmer variety go on about make-up for a solid half-hour non-stop. I know guys can do the same thing when they talk about cars, but they seem to tire out a LOT quicker than females, and maybe it's just me, but ANYTHING is deeper and more interesting than talking about eye liner. For half an hour? WTF? Scary stupid.

3. Another thing is when meeting new people and they instantly try to find out who in the little cluster makes the most money, and you can see their personality completely change because of it. Some people are so rude and so desperate for status, and it amazes me that they can't see how they come off.

4. Fruits that all taste like potatoes, no matter what they are. Strawberries, peaches, apples, oranges, bananas -- they can all taste just completely bland, they get picked so unripe these days. I'm always surprised when a strawberry is good, because so often they're really bad. I used to love strawberries!

5. Drivers who are not only bad, but aggressive. You have to choose to be one or the other, or you're just an idiot.

i really dislike when people leave lights on. i guess general waste is kind of a pet peeve of mine. the power shortages of young california kind of conditioned me not to ever waste electricity.

traffic obv.

people not listening and then getting upset as a result. probably in line with dids' "not following directions" complaint.
