Assuming this post is serious every player at 200/400 is going to cause you fits because you aren't familiar with the level of aggression they are bringing to the table. The games are just about always shorthanded and the "best" game is still tougher than the worst 50/100 and its not close. 100/200 looks to me like it sometimes plays closer to 2/4 and sometimes 50/100.

ok, so who do i avoid? i.e. who plays exceptionally well there?

Lately the 1/2 games have been v tough and many play pretty well. If you don't have much experience at these limits, get ready for some headaches when you start missing flops and get checkraised every freakin time.

This avoiding business makes no sense to me. You play a game if there are some weak players in it and play your hands well against whoever you're up against. You'll learn who's good and who's not with time.

i think youll probably do fine. my initial post was just to be mean/joke around.

but there was some truth to it too. youre already being told by a few people that the games are tough. imo your best shot at being able to beat these games over time is to have earned enough playing smaller games to step up yourself (perhaps with someone taking a small piece of you). of course i cant fault you for finding someone willing to stake you, it is good to get your feet wet at some point.

good luck,
mike

Bob,

What stakes do you regularly play right now?

You'll get chewed up at 200/400 and quite possibly 100/200 but not as much.

Who to avoid at 2/4: Everyone.

There are no "fish" there, except a few notable exceptions that I am not sure people would want me posting. If you're going to avoid newwhizzle, you should avoid the stakes all together, he's pretty much the average player on there
