Will it become the best Bond ever? I've heard others say that it might.

Regardkess, I hope that they continue the trend of making it dark and shadowy like it should have been all along. I said for years that they needed to get someone like John Woo or David Fincher to direct one of these movies. If it's as good as you say, let's hope they keep it going.

Can't wait to see it.

Dark is the new black. Batman Begins went dark, spiderman 3 looks to be pretty dark and Casino Royale is dark.

It appears hollywood is ready to let us see a tortured soul on screen when it comes to the major franchise films.

As for best Bond ever, hmm. Im a Goldeneye fan, ie im more into the modern Bonds of my era. But i appreciate the older Bonds. Like i say, time will tell how loved Craig and Casino Royale will be, but its a step in the right direction if nothing else.

Vespar asks him (and im paraphrasing here) at one point (also in trailer, so im consistant ) "how can you so calmly kill people", to which he responds "I wouldnt be very good at my job if i couldnt". This is really early on, after his first two kills. He racks up a fair few more by the end.

I'm a huge Bond fan, have read all of Fleming's novels, seen the movies, etc. But I have not seen a "Bond" movie in the theater since "License To Kill". I'll be seeing this.

Dudes - Fleming's Bond in the novels was a stone cold killer. I thought Craig was an excellent choice for the role (based on "Road To Perdition" and "Layer Cake"), and I'm glad to see that they moved the character in that direction.

LOL

I have never watched any Bond movie all the way through because from what I have seen they are all cheesy as hell. I'm actually looking forward to seeing this one opening weekend.
