i like it. almost everything you beat preflop hit the flop except AK which he might check or play differently preflop.

hm u wouldnt expect him to reraise aces/kings with the UTG and MP behind him ? [/ QUOTE ] Reraising aa/kk will cause everything to fold behind except maybe qq. Which I guess is why reraising air here maybe a good play. |

I'd like to see you lead out on that flop, and then knuckle under to any pressure. While I agree that AA and KK are in his range, I bet AK, QQ, JJ, and maybe even TT are, too. You could easily get a fold out of AK, QQ, and possibly even KK if he has put you specifically on JJ-AA. And you might get a call from TT, thinking that he has 10 outs, where he really has only 6.
In any case, having checked on that flop, you look really weak. He could easily put you on AK and figures he is betting his TT for value. |

except for when he folds his TT preflop to an UTG raise, and UTG+1 call, and a 3bet out of the blinds.

I did say I didn't really expect him to have TT, but I wouldn't completely discount it, either. I am prepared, given how tight the villain is, to discount 99 or lower, for exactly the reason you describe. You didn't respond to my suggestion to lead out on the turn. Even if you put him on JJ+ and AKs, I think he folds QQ, KK, AK, and you're only in trouble against JJ and AA. Plus, hero has 6 outs against either of them. Not something to be wildly happy about putting money behind, but still something. |

tough, but good fold. id say he has jj or kk. everything else seems likely to be out of his range, esp coming from BB with his stats, and not knowing what the action behind him will be preflop.

i miss being wildly happy [/ QUOTE ]lol! Yeah, me too. But it isn't that often that you flop quads and there is a bet and a raise to you. In the meantime, you have to play the odds, and sometimes find out that you're behind. Hopefully, you'll at least have a few outs when you do. |
