Was the 1 man on golf team senior year, but I got kicked off the team halfway through the season so I guess I didn't go that far.

I played collegiate-level tennis and some satellite-level pro tennis...got to play in a few big tournaments against some known players...we're talking late 80s, though...

I haven't played tennis in over 8 years and would love to get back into it...so anyone in Vegas wanna hit some balls around, let me know!

I also played high school football.

And I once had a golf handicap of 8....I'm probably around a 12 or 13 now, though...I just don't play enough.

no high school sports

i played soccer (goalie) and basketball in college at a small liberal arts school. i was one of the best players but it's not like we were even members of a conference or anything and our teams sucked.

i bowled in some decent money leagues up until i moved to NYC, too expensive here so i gave it up. my best year i finished with a 217 average. i've shot 5 299's but no 300's, best series was a 785.

I'm currently playing volleyball in the CIS. I doubt it will go any further than that though.

High School - In California

Wrestling: All-CIF Southern Section, All-State. Took 3rd in the state my junior year, but tore my ACL my senior year playing football so I never got to wrestle again.

Football: All CIF Southern Section, All-Sate Honorable Mention

Baseball: All CIF Southern Section

College - In California

Football: Played D3 football. Captain. Started at SS and RB. D3 All-American Honorable Mention. Our team was ranked in the top 25 my Soph year and top 10 my Junior year (but we fell out after lots of injuries).

I probably could have gone decently far in wrestling, but I really wanted to play football in college and not wrestling my senior year made it hard to get back into. Plus, not nearly as many colleges have wrestling so my choices would have been greatly limited.

I'm really happy that I got to play football in college for 4 years. It was an absolute blast. I had offers for some D2 schools but I went the academic route with the small liberal arts college (Pomona College).

I played college ultimate frisbee my first year at Davis. Our team had played in the national championship game the year before I got there, but the two best players graduated and a lack of leadership led to tons of infighting and cliques forming on the team. In the end I got tired of the petty bs and didn't come back for a 2nd year, even though I loved the competition and travel.

I played golf, basketball, and baseball while in high school.

Baseball was my favorite sport. During one game I hit 2 homeruns in the same inning. I also hit a game-winning homerun against one of the better teams in our league. I was also a pitcher and in one game I had a perfect-game going into the 5th inning where it then got broke by a dribbler right past me, and the 2nd basemen couldn't get to it in time.

I was also on the front page of a big newspaper in my area for throwing a complete game, 2 hitter during a districts game.

I stopped playing after high school because I joined the National Guard, and also, I didn't see myself going on any further past college and so baseball wasn't in my future. I did get recruited by a branch campus of the University of Pittsburgh, but I am the type of being all or nothing and so I turned it down.

My claim to fame: I know Joe Beimel. He is from a town that is about 10 miles away from me, and his wife worked with my dad for a couple years.

My catcher during high school was drafted by the Twins and now plays for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization for Visalia Oaks. His name is Josh Johnson.

I was a decent football player, all region my senior year. almost walked on at a DII school but decided to work instead.

I was a good wrestler and that was my favorite sport by far -- really started to click during my junior year. ended up something like 29-3 my senior year after choking in the state tournament.

best moment: the defending state champions were visiting for a team match. Our heavyweight wasn't very good and theirs had won state the year before, and my JV could easily beat the guy I was supposed to be up against. So my coach moved me up. the big guys go last, and by the time I was up my team was down four points in the match. This meant I needed to get a fall for six team pts or a technical fall for five team pts in order for our team to win (a tech fall occurs when you are winning by 15 points, the match is stopped). the crowd is going nuts, the coach is screaming that I need a pin, and I just start whipping on him from the very beginning. I keep getting him in really bad spots but can't quite get the pin, but racking up the points the whole time. end up beating him 16-1 with about 30 seconds left.
